The problem really would come down to convincing him that his own life still has value despite the fact that he's been responsible- whether directly or indirectly- for taking thousands upon thousands of other lives. Whether for a good cause, or to protect an even greater number of lives, or whatever, but in canon Sion still feels guilty and blames himself for each one. Because, well, as probably seen in Sabra, he's fairly gentle-natured at heart, so.
...he has yet to really remember any of this though. The worst he's remembered is giving orders as king to have a particular individual that was apparently a threat to the kingdom killed. Which still makes him :/ but at least seems somewhat reasonably justified.
